 This is my gym.

These bars are my bars. When I put more bumpers on the ends, I get stronger. But when I take heavy weight off, I can go faster.

These rings are my rings. When I am strong, I can hold my arms out farther and test my strength. But when I am weaker, I draw everything close and just hang on.

This iron is my iron. The weight I try to lift in this life. It hurts me but it makes me grow. I’m stronger now than I was a week ago, a month ago, a year ago, a decade ago. And I’m only getting stronger.

Does that scare you? It should. My power is legendary, my strength is inspiring, my life is a testimony to the heart that beats so strong in me and the soul that goes so deep.

I am a CrossFitter. And this is my gym.

Great job everyone on yesterdays WOD. We did a team Crossfit Games workout. It was 1 that supprised everyone afterwards, but everyone stepped up.

Today's WOD: 21-15-9/ SDHP, Box Jumps, Push Press 95#/75#

I know we weren't going to have any classes on Monday but we will have one @ 5:30pm. Tuesday we'll do our normal benchmark Wod, so we'll do something special tomorrow.

We're meeting Saturday Morning 730am @ Norwalk & car pooling down there, I'll drive my truck so you can bring coolers, bags, or anything else & put it in the back of my truck. We're also having iron-ons made so we'll have matching shirts. If your team doesn't have a color let me know which color you want so I can assign it to your team.

After we're done mudding it up, we're having a birthday party for Renee, it'll either be at John's house or "The Box".

Great class Saturday , ALOT of energy. We also had some of the fire recruits come and workout after class, they seemed to love it. Bash joined us as well so it was good seeing him out of the rookie role again. They have 10 days till they graduate. The recruits want to come out again so I'll try to set up something so everyone can work out w/ them, I'll post something when I set it up. Next Saturday is the Mud Run, I'll have the teams post later today.

Sportsplex

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday= No Class

Tuesday, Thursday= 6pm Kid class/ 7pm adult class

 

Norwalk

Monday, Thursday= Closed (Thursday we're going to hold all classes at the Sportsplex so we can do our group WOD on the field and we'd like everyone together).

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday= Normal classes

 

Just remember this week starts the new schedule for the Sportsplex. Classes will be Tuesday, Thursday and some Saturdays for the summer only. The Sportsplex changes there times because summers are always slow for them so this is the reason for our schedule change. See everyone tomorrow.

I wanted to wish everyone a safe weekend. When you are with your families, please remember those who gave their lives so you can have times like these. Also, remeber our brothers and sisters who are still serving and who have served in the past for our freedom.

I've had a couple people share some of there sucess with me this last week and I wanted everyone to know about them, this is one of the reasons I'm a trainer, because I get to be a part of these stories. 

 

I just went home for my best friend's wedding and everyone was freaking out about how athletic I look. The groomsmen were jokingly calling me Sarah Connor and a one guy in a bar asked me if I was a fitness model. All the women were asking me where I train and what I do. Of course, I was telling everyone about Crossfit and wouldn't be surprised if there's a spike in Crossfit memberships in Indianapolis.

I didn't join Crossfit to make myself pretty, but it doesn't hurt to get so many compliments. :)

I've been a Crossfitter with you guys for 3 months now and I've lost a total of 30 lbs. so far. I have 15 more to go before I hit my traget weight.
