REST DAY...
Make up a missed workout/ work on skills/or instructor choice. This is not beat your body up for another day. Longer and more is not always better.
We are looking at doing this fundraiser in October...
www.barbellsforboobs.com Let me know if you are interested in participating.
Food for thought... Every diet product and every gym in the US has this disclosure "Consult a medical doctor before starting any diet or exercise plan" Is this absolutely ludicrous or is it just me? Why would I need to see a doctor before eating better and exercising? Shouldn't it be the other way around... "You will need to see a medical doctor if you don't eat better and exercise!" How did we get to a world where the healthy are somewhat shunned and the norm is: lack of activity, overeating, spending long days with bad posture and bad habits. Are we not human? Are we not designed to get out of chairs, get to places without a car and pick things up with our arms and legs. Why do we need to get a doctor's permission to be human? Why don't we rally to get labels put on a bag of chips "Please consult a medical doctor before consuming this artificial food product" Here is another label and law that I want... "Please get doctor's permission before taking a job where you sit at a desk 8 hours a day working on a computer" We are designed to move and exercise but we are not designed to sit and peck with our fingers. Here is another thing that I think is ridiculous.... My son had to get doctor's permission before participating in school sports. WHAT? I don't remember the school asking permission from me to take away recess and to destroy my son's posterior chain by nailing him to a desk all day. I also don't remember them getting a doctor's permission to offer him pizza every day for lunch as a staple food. What are we coming to in this world where you are different if you actually do what you are designed to do? One last thing... why am I looked at like the weird one because I don't like to go out and eat crappy semi-real food at restaurants every day of the week. I think the people that stuff their bodies with garbage day in and day out are the ones that should be ridiculed.
Sorry- this is my rant for the day!
